Introduction to Author Boxes

Author Boxes are the main way that you can control the display of author profiles in the PublishPress Authors plugin.

You will find the Author Boxes by going to “Authors” and then “Author Boxes” in the WordPress admin. By default, the plugin provides five different displays called “Boxes”, “Centered”, “Inline”, “Inline with Avatars”, and “Simple List”. Click here to get a preview of these displays.

These Author Boxes can appear in many different places on your site:

• Below the post content
• In widgets
• In shortcodes
• In theme or plugin code
