About one month ago, we relaunched Revisionary, the plugin for managing, scheduling and moderating WordPress revisions. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been hard at work updating Revisionary to work with the Gutenberg editor. I’m happy to say we’re almost there. Version 1.3 of Revisionary is available now with Gutenberg compatibility for many features.
Revisionary is the best plugin for managing revisions in WordPress. The latest release of Revisionary improves support for multisite networks. All of our plugins have good multisite support including PublishPress Capabilities.
Update: this plugin is now called “PublishPress Capabilities”. I’m delighted to say that the Capability Manager Enhanced plugin is now part of the PublishPress family. This is one of the most popular Permissions plugins on WordPress.org, with over 70,000 active installs.
One use for the Reminders feature in PublishPress is to send important reminders to authors AFTER content is published. One thing you can do to help publicize your content is send out pre-filled social media links. All the authors need to do is click the links and they can share the post on social media….

We’re delighted to announce that PublishPress has acquired Press Permit. We have been talking about working together since early 2018. Yes, the companies do have very similar names, but there’s more to it than that! Both Press Permit and PublishPress are known for developing WordPress plugins that focus on publishing.

The new Gutenberg editor brings many interesting changes to WordPress. It takes away some features and adds some new improvements. In the case of PublishPress, Gutenberg did take away custom statuses (we hope to have a fix for that very soon). But, it also offered ways to make PublishPress better.
