Just over two months ago, we acquired the Press Permit plugins. Just importantly, Kevin (the original developer of the plugins) came to work with us. Two plugins have already moved here to PublishPress: Revisionary and Capability Manager Enhanced. The next step is to move the remaining Press Permit plugins over here to PublishPress.com.
PublishPress 1.20.0 is available now and it has several useful improvements to the calendar and notifications. Here’s a quick rundown of the new features you’ll see in PublishPress 1.20:

We acquired the plugin in February and are working hard on improvements. Our goal is to create a suite of powerful publishing plugins for WordPress. Capability Manager Enhanced is key to that goal.
About one month ago, we relaunched Revisionary, the plugin for managing, scheduling and moderating WordPress revisions. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been hard at work updating Revisionary to work with the Gutenberg editor. I’m happy to say we’re almost there. Version 1.3 of Revisionary is available now with Gutenberg compatibility for many features.
Revisionary is the best plugin for managing revisions in WordPress. The latest release of Revisionary improves support for multisite networks. All of our plugins have good multisite support including PublishPress Capabilities.
Update: this plugin is now called “PublishPress Capabilities”. I’m delighted to say that the Capability Manager Enhanced plugin is now part of the PublishPress family. This is one of the most popular Permissions plugins on WordPress.org, with over 70,000 active installs.
One use for the Reminders feature in PublishPress is to send important reminders to authors AFTER content is published. One thing you can do to help publicize your content is send out pre-filled social media links. All the authors need to do is click the links and they can share the post on social media….
