PublishPress Revisions 4.3.2: Compatibility Fixes for Yoast SEO and Permissions

This post is about a release of the PublishPress Revisions plugin. This plugin allows you safely manage changes to published posts in WordPress. You can approve all changes to posts and even schedule them to go live on a specific day.

PublishPress Revisions 4.3.2 is a maintenance update focused on making revision workflows more reliable across common WordPress setups. The biggest improvements are compatibility fixes for sites using Yoast SEO, PublishPress Permissions, and other plugins that run scheduled background tasks.

There are no new workflow features in this release. Instead, the update addresses issues that could get in the way of reviewing, comparing, or publishing revisions on some sites.

Other changes

  • Yoast SEO compatibility: Updates to home page and archive page SEO data should now work more reliably when revisions are published.
  • PublishPress Permissions compatibility: Users with revisor access should no longer be blocked from comparing revisions.
  • Plugin compatibility: The update reduces the chance of conflicts with other plugins that manage scheduled background tasks.
  • Hosting compatibility: Database setup is more reliable on servers with stricter configuration requirements.
  • Settings screen polish: A spacing issue around a new settings checkbox has been fixed.

If your site uses Yoast SEO, PublishPress Permissions, or a larger plugin stack, this update is especially worth applying to keep revision review and publishing running smoothly.
