PublishPress Shortlinks 1.10.1: Favorites and Copy Actions
This post is about a release of the PublishPress Shortlinks plugin. This is the link manger for WordPress. The plugin is ideal for affiliate marketers or anyone who needs to track the performance of links on their website.
PublishPress Shortlinks 1.10.1 gives the shortlinks list two practical workflow upgrades: favorites and copy actions. For site owners, editors, and marketers who manage many links, this should make it faster to find important shortlinks and copy the right URL without opening extra screens.
Table of Contents
What’s new
- Favorites in the shortlinks list: Mark the shortlinks you use most often so they are easier to spot while managing a busy site.
- Copy actions in the shortlinks list: Copy shortlink URLs directly from the list view when you need to share them in campaigns, emails, or social posts.
These are small but useful improvements for day to day link management. If your site has a growing library of shortlinks, the updated list screen should help reduce clicks and make frequently used links easier to reuse.
Migration and maintenance fixes
- Legacy URL alias migration: This update fixes handling for older URL aliases when moving from another shortlink setup.
- Plugin information updates: Plugin headers and feature descriptions were corrected so displayed information is more accurate.
- Documentation refresh: The readme now describes more shipped features and expands the FAQ to cover common questions more thoroughly.
- Admin stylesheet cleanup: Inconsistent line endings in an admin stylesheet were fixed as part of routine maintenance.
This post provides an overview of the new features in this release of the PublishPress Shortlinks plugin. The complete changelogs for both Free and Pro versions are available in our Docs area.
