Over the last few weeks, we've been working on a large number of improvements to PublishPress Blocks Pro.
In the latest version, you'll see dozens of new design, layout, and alignment options, plus lots of other improvements. Almost all of the ideas for improvements have come from PublishPress users.
Here's a rundown of the new features in the Pro version of PublishPress Blocks.
Support for Full-Site Editing
The WordPress core team are working to Gutenberg the default way to build entire sites. The “Full-Site Editing” feature is still in beta, but PublishPress Blocks is ready. You can now use our blocks inside your site layouts. In the image below, I'm adding a button block into the header of my website.
Count Up block
The Count Up block is perfect for showcasing a number in Gutenberg. You can use it show how many clients you have, how much money you have raised, how many cups of coffee you've served, or anything else. Blocks Pro users can now change the Header size, Description size, and the the text alignment.
The Testimonial Block allows you to add client testimonials to Gutenberg. You can add testimonials using columns or a slider. In Blocks Pro, you can change the size for the name, position and description. You can also change alignment settings for your text.
Advanced Image block
The Advanced Image block is based on the default Image block in Gutenberg. This improved version of the block has tons of extra features including focal points, overlays, custom text and more. In Blocks Pro you can change the HTML tag for the title and subtitle in order to display the content in a different size.
Images Slider block
If you want to show multiple images in a slider / slideshow, then the Images Slider Block is a great option. This Gutenberg block has advanced features including overlays, auto height, text, color and alignment options. In Blocks Pro, you can enable autoplay and change the autoplay speed for the slideshow. You can also change the HTML tag for the title and text in order to display the content in a different size. Content Display block
The Content Display block is the best way to showcase your content in WordPress. Several views are available including Grid, List, Slider, Frontpage, Newspaper and Masonry. In Blocks Pro, you can change the order of the sections such as image, title, info and text. You can also change the design settings for Read more link, and also set a width and height for the Featured Images.
Advanced Tabs block
You can create an Advanced Tabs block when you need display a lot of content in a small area. The tabs are mobile-friendly, can be horizontal or vertical, and can be customized with your colors and design. In Blocks Pro, you can add custom anchors to the tabs, and open a tab through a URL. You can also reorder tabs using the arrows to move the selected tab to the left or right:
Advanced Button block
The Advanced Button block is based on the default Button block in Gutenberg. This improved version of the button block has tons of extra features including advanced styling such as hover, margin, border, padding, shadows and more. With Blocks Pro, you can add icons to your Advanced Buttons. Do it through the Icon panel in the sidebar.
Advanced List block
The Advanced List block is based on the default List block in Gutenberg. This improved version of the block has tons of extra features including advanced styling such as custom icons, text size, margin, padding and more. With Blocks Pro, you can add a custom color to the whole list.
Advanced Accordion block
You can create an Advanced Accordion block when you need to display a lot of content in a small area. Your site visitors will be able to click on accordion bars that slide out to reveal content. With Blocks Pro, you can add custom anchors to the accordions, and open an accordion through a URL.
