PublishPress Taxonomies 3.0.6 Has Improved Term Display
PublishPress Taxonomies 3.0.6 is now available for download in both Free and Pro versions. This release improves how PublishPress Taxonomies can display all the terms in a taxonomy. Here are three key changes:
- Use any taxonomy or post types: In previous versions, you could only use the “Tags” taxonomy in your Tag Clouds. Now it’s possible to show any taxonomy attached to any post type.
- Create multiple displays: In previous versions, you could only create one Tag Cloud. In the Pro version of PublishPress Taxonomies, you can create as many displays as you want.
- New “Terms Display” area: Instead of being hidden in “Settings”, the displays now have their own screen called “Terms Display”.

On the “Terms Display” screen, you’ll see all your displays:

You can click the title to edit the settings for this existing display. Or you can click “Add New” in the Pro version and add your own:

Every display can be shown in a shortcode, or inside a widget:

In this example below, we have WooCommerce on the site and are showing a cloud of the most popular terms in the “Product Tags” category.
