PublishPress Capabilities v2.50.1 is a maintenance release focused on making role management more predictable. The update improves role dropdown behavior, makes the default Admin Styles option easier to find, and prevents internal menu capability grants from being applied too broadly.

Changes in this maintenance release
- Consistent role dropdowns: Role selectors on capability management screens now avoid showing the current user’s own roles, helping prevent accidental changes to the role you are using.
- Default Admin Styles first: The WordPress default admin color scheme now stays at the top of the Admin Styles list, making it simpler to return a role to the standard appearance.
- Safer menu capability handling: Automatic grants for internal menu capabilities are now limited to the Administrator role rather than being applied to Editors.
- Better translation support: Search and select messages such as “No results match” and “No matches found for” can now be translated.
