## What is the edit_pages permission in WordPress?

The edit_pages permission controls access to the "Pages" screen in WordPress and also allows you to create new Pages.

If you have the edit_pages permission, you will get access to these two links:

- "All Pages"
- "Add New"

- [delete_pages](https://publishpress.com/permissions/delete-pages/)

## Who has the edit_pages permission?
