# User Permissions in PublishPress Planner

You can change the permissions on [PublishPress Planner](https://publishpress.com/links/planner) using [the PublishPress Capabilities plugin](https://publishpress.com/capabilities/).

After installing the plugin, go to the "Capabilities" link in your WordPress admin menu.

There are key permissions you can change:

- **pp_view_calendar**: This allows users to view the [Content Calendar](https://publishpress.com/links/content-calendar) screen.
- **pp_view_content_overview**: This allows users to view the [Content Overview](https://publishpress.com/links/content-overview) screen.
- **pp_view_content_board**: This allows users to view the [Content Board](https://publishpress.com/links/content-board) screen.
- **pp_view_editorial_metadata**: This allows users to view metadata when they are editing a post.
- **pp_delete_editorial_comment**: This allows users to delete their own editorial comments.
- **pp_delete_others_editorial_comment**: This allows users to delete other people's editorial comments.
- **pp_edit_editorial_comment**: This allows users to edit their own editorial comments.
- **pp_edit_others_editorial_comment**: This allows users to edit other people's editorial comments.
- **edit_post_subscriptions**: This allows users to edit the notifications.
- **pp_edit_editorial_metadata**: This allows users to change metadata when they are editing a post.
- **pp_manage_roles**: This allows users to view the "Roles" screen and create new roles.
- **pp_set_notification_channel:** This allows users to choose their own notification channel (email or Slack).
