# The Authors List Widget

The [PublishPress Authors](https://publishpress.com/links/authors) plugin provides two widgets.

The “Authors List” widget will display a list of all the authors on your site. If you want to show the authors of the post being viewed, try [the Post Author widget](https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/post-author-widget/).

- In your WordPress site, go to Appearance > Widgets.
- Look for the "Authors List" widget.
- Drag the "Authors List" widget into one of your sidebar areas:

- Inside the widget, you can choose from [the default layout options](https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/layout/) and two custom layouts (Authors Index and Authors Recent). There are also multiple other options for customizing the output of your authors display.
