Newsletters, Catalog, Recipe Books, and Manual creation

These come in many formats and sizes, and serve a variety of purposes. Whether you send it monthly, quarterly, or annually, your newsletter can provide your customers or employees with a wealth of information.

Format Examples: 

Letter-sized Booklets - These types are great for mailing if more than a couple of pages but less than a couple dozen. With this format, pages are actually folded in half and stapled in the middle. Since reading is done on a ½ page size, formatting is usually single column per ½ page side and reads similar to a book.

Letter-sized Multi-Column - There are several forms of these but one of the more common types is a 3 column style which can be tri-folded and either stuffed into an envelope if less than a handful of pages or stapled if more when mailed.

Letter-sized Punched - This format is typically used for catalogs and is basically letter-size and 3-hole punched so that pages can be individually replaced. There are a wide variety of possibilities regarding catalog formatting because of the publication being more potentially technical in nature but a typical format may likely be multiple column.

Tabloid-sized Booklets - These larger formats are more of a newspaper style and can contain numerous columns. Not quite as common as the others, these are good for larger publications that may be several pages. These are similar to a large booklet style in the sense that they are also folded in ½ and stapled in the middle to form letter sized sides.

DTP-NEWS - Newsletters come in a variety of formats from the small leaflet to large 11x17 format. These may be fold over or not. Standard pricing is per double-sided 8.5x11 sheet of paper which could be 8.5x11 folded in half, standard 8.5x11 double sided, or half of a larger 11x17 format. A 8.5x11 folded in half newsletter may only contain 1 column per page side whereas a standard 8.5x11 double sided may contain 2 or 3 columns.
