Scanning

Do you want some photos or text scanned in but don’t have a scanner or time? We can scan in your favorite photos into a digital format so they can be printed or published on the web. We can even scan in several pages of text to bring it from hardcopy to a digital format for publication elsewhere.

Do you want some photos or text scanned in but don't have a scanner or time? We can scan photos in for you so you can post them to your website, e-mail them to friends, or publish them in printed material such as flyers or brochures. Text can even be scanned to go directly into a text formatted document or publication.

DTP-PICS - Photos are usually scanned in from originals and may be used for either web or print. Scans may be any size from 1x1 to 8x10. Since monitors usually display at a lower resolution than print media, scans intended for web display are typically scanned in at 72-96dpi full color whereas scans indented for print may normally be scanned in at 150dpi full color to 200-600dpi black and white or grayscale. Any copyrighted photos require a copyright release form signed by the photographer. This includes any professional photographs regardless of whether the photographer's or studio's information is included on the print itself.

Clip Art

DTP-CLIP - This is for clip art placement and may apply to placing clip art in business cards, flyers, invitations, brochures. etc. Clip art may include any free clip art available online, licensed clip art we have available, or clip art you may have a license to.

Standard fonts include: Arial, Arial Black, Cooper Black, Courier New, Garamond, Goudy Old Style, Impact, Palatino, Times New Roman, Trebuchet, & Verdana.
